Pre-Trip Thoughts

So as we are getting ready to head out a couple of the team members had a few thoughts they wanted to share with you

Tanya- So we are off to Ukraine, I am super excited, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord is going to do while we are there. We have a plan going in, but I know how quickly outreach plans can change, so we will just see what the Lord wants us to do. Right now a lot of our outreach will be English re-lated. We will have the chance to talk in some universities, an English club, and we will share with some future Ukrainian missionaries about the school here in Vajta.
The trip to Ternopil is going to be fun, we will be traveling for about 20 hours, so we are loaded up with a ton of food and some games. It will be good team bonding time. :)
Tanya

Jason- One day until we get to head out to Ukraine and share the gospel. Its going to be an amazing time where we get to live out the great commission "Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit..." Matthew 28:20. As we head out to do this we have 2 options, we can try to do it in our own strength or we can rely on the strength of the Holy Spirit... i hope and pray we choose to rely on the Holy Spirit. Continue to pray for us... God Bless all of you :)
Jason

Patrica- As we pack and get ready to leave on our 10 day outreach, we look ahead in anticipation of all God is going to do in and through us! We have been given the great privilege of being used by God to co-labor in His fields with Him. God is so faithful and we know that it is the deepest desire of His heart that all would come to be His children: to experience His love and walk in His truth! As God seems to be opening the door for us to share in the universities with the students, it is the cry of our hearts that God would break through the secularism that can so easily prevail there and that we will see Him bring light to these hearts and minds.

When we leave Ukraine, this is what I pray we may be saying to the students whose eyes will have been opened to the truth:
"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." - Colossians 1:9-14

May all the glory go to Jesus!
